Race Timing Lead

The Race Timing Lead is a part time position with working hours on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings (5:00am-11:00 am). The main responsibilities is to set-up and operation of the chip timing systems during the event. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Being knowledgeable in chip timing scoring software - Chronotrack & Race Director
  • Being knowledgeable in online registration platforms - Chronotrack/Athlinks & RunSignUp
  • Prepare timing tags, bibs and equipment leading up to an event
  • Driving the company truck
  • Loading/unloading equipment
  • Setup of timing equipment, start & finish line displays and markings/signage on course
  • Provide leadership to other team members
  • Other race-related duties will be asked as needed.
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to work in a stressful work environment
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Strong computer skills in computing and applications
  • Running racing experience preferred
  • Experience in race timing/management/volunteering preferred
  • Available to work weekends (Sat & Sun; 5am – 11am). Some weekday evenings may also be needed
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is a part time position. The main responsibilities is to manage company and event marketing programs. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Create monthly email newsletters and maintain email data list
  • Drive marketing campaigns for events hosted with Final Lap including advertising, direct print, and social media
  • Assist in recruiting new event timing opportunities
  • Assist in social media engagement with events and participants
  • Other duties will be asked as needed
  • Current enrollment in College or University pursing a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field. required
  • Works well independently
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator preferred
  • Flexible hours to meet deadlines. Some weekend morning hours may be needed during events
  • General knowledge of marketing field
  • Experience in digital marketing
